Robin McCatty

Student Skills Specialist

Robin has over 10 years of experience working closely with neurodiverse students as the School Counselor at Willow Hill School, a special education middle and high school located in Sudbury, MA. During this time, Robin had the opportunity to teach both Social Skills and Transitional Planning classes. The courses covered a variety of social-emotional learning topics and were tailored to the unique needs of the students. She also enjoyed teaching a variety of electives, such as Paint Night and Yoga/Barre, during which students had the opportunity to practice the social skills they learned in her classes.

Some of Robin’s core values are compassion, determination, and fortitude. She enjoys supporting students to develop skills in self-awareness, time management, life balance, and building healthy relationships. Robin strives to show students that she is “for them,” and aims to build positive connections with each unique individual with whom she works. These connections allow students to feel comfortable and be better able to discover who they are as they learn, grow, and ultimately succeed in their life goals.

Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in the Townsend Model of Competence and Character Growth from Concordia University in Irvine, CA. She also has a Clinical Training Certificate from Social Thinking.
